This policy explains what happens to your information when you use sindynngceba.co.za, the personal portfolio site of Sindy N Ngceba, a senior integrated producer based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
It is written to be read, not to be survived. If anything here is unclear, ask and it will be explained plainly.
Only what you choose to send. The contact form on this site asks for four things: your first name, your email address, a subject, and your message. Nothing else is requested and nothing else is required.
As with any website, the hosting server also keeps ordinary technical records of visits, such as the pages requested and the time of the request. Basic visitor statistics are recorded to understand how the site is used.
To read your enquiry and reply to it. That is the only reason. Your details are not used for marketing, are not added to a mailing list, and are not sold or traded to anyone.
A form submission is emailed to Sindy and a copy is stored in this website’s own database, which sits on the hosting account that runs the site. The hosting provider processes that data only as part of keeping the website online.
For as long as it is needed to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows from it. You can ask for your message and details to be deleted at any time, and they will be.
This site uses functional cookies set by WordPress and by the page builder it is built with. They keep the site working correctly. Visitor statistics are also recorded. No advertising cookies are used and you are not tracked across other websites.
This site links to profiles and work hosted elsewhere, such as LinkedIn and YouTube. Once you follow a link you are on someone else’s website, under their privacy policy, not this one.
Under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you may ask what personal information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, and object to it being used. Write to the address below and it will be actioned.
If you are not satisfied with the response, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
